Brief info

Shilu Kumari is currently pursuing a Master's in Ancient Indian History & Culture (AIHC) and Archaeology at Deccan College, Pune, after completing her undergraduate studies in the same field at Banaras Hindu University in 2023. Her academic interests are centered on the exploration of prehistoric and historical periods, with a particular focus on early human societies and their cultural expressions.
She has gained valuable practical experience through excavations at the Ausa Fort site in Latur, Maharashtra. Shilu actively participates in workshops to expand her knowledge of archaeological methods and cultural heritage preservation. Notably, she attended the 2023 Workshop on Semi-Precious Stone Beads Technology and its Importance in Cultural Heritage, organized by Deccan College and the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums Maharashtra.
Through her academic and practical experiences, Shilu is dedicated to contributing to the preservation and understanding of India’s rich cultural and archaeological heritage.
